Our Meals
The daycare follows the recommendations of the Canadian Food Guide. We serve simple yet nutritious homemade meals prepared with local and organically grown seasonal ingredients, while respecting the ethnic and religious backgrounds of the children. On theme days, we offer dishes from different cultures to broaden their taste experiences.
During meals, children are encouraged to help set the table and clear their dishes, promoting autonomy and responsibility.
Two snacks are offered daily: the morning snack at 9:00 a.m. and the afternoon snack at 3:00 p.m. A hot lunch is served at 11:30 a.m.
The weekly menu is posted at the daycare entrance on the information board. If your child requires a special diet prescribed by a member of the Collège des Médecins du Québec, a signed medical note is required so that we can make the necessary adjustments.
In the case of a severe allergy, children may bring their meals and snacks from home. The daycare does not offer any foods containing peanuts or peanut-derived products.
